Share a deal with a friend
Send a deal you found on Beam to a friend by text or any app. If they have Beam, the link opens the deal in their app; if not, they see it on a web page and can get Beam free.
What's in this video
- On Nearby, tap the deal to open it.
- Tap Share, the small orange button at the bottom left, next to Claim Deal. Beam writes a short message and adds the link.
- Pick how to send it, for example Messages, choose your friend and send.
- If your friend has Beam, tapping the link opens the same deal in their app.
- If they don't have Beam yet, the link opens a web page with the deal and a button to get Beam free.
- Deals are time-limited. If the deal has ended, the link says so, so share it while it's live.
