Redeem with your Counter PIN
No time to scan at a busy counter? Customers type your 4-digit Counter PIN on their own phone to use their deal. Here is where to find your PIN, how to change it, and what the customer sees.
What's in this video
- On your phone, tap Settings, then tap Counter PIN under Business. Your PIN also shows on the Scan tab and above your live beams.
- That is your PIN. Show it by your register so customers can type it in.
- To change it, type a new 4-digit PIN, then type it again to confirm. Easy ones like 1234 are refused.
- The old PIN stops working right away, so update the sign at your register.
- On the customer's phone, they open their claimed deal and tap Enter PIN.
- They type the PIN from your counter.
- Their phone shows Redeemed with a clock that ticks the seconds, so you can tell it is not a screenshot.
