Apple Watch, Fitbit, and Sonos face 10% U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods
A $200 billion list of Chinese-made products facing 10 percent U.S. tariffs currently includes select Apple Watch, Fitbit, and Sonos speaker models, raising the prospect of higher prices on some popular consumer electronics this fall.
KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 15): Berjaya Food Bhd (BFood) will be opening at least 30 more Kenny Rogers Roasters (KRR) outlets and 75 Jollibean kiosks in India, via a partnership with World Iconic Brands (WIB) Hospitality Private Ltd inked today.
The total investment in India is estimated at US$50 million (or RM204.92 million), according to WIB's managing director Gaurav Marya at the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing ceremony.

SINGAPORE (Aug 15): Discussions between Malaysia and Singapore on the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) project will continue in the coming weeks after officially kicking off on Aug 11.
Singapore Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan and Malaysia's Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali met in Singapore last Saturday to discuss the project, Channel NewsAsia reported late Tuesday.
"The ministers discussed the HSR project and agreed to continue discussions in the coming weeks," Singapore's Ministry of Transport was quoted as saying.
