Concerns on Perodua's technology partner unfounded, says CEO
KUALA LUMPUR (April 26): Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) said the concerns surrounding its technological partner Daihatsu Motor Corp amid UMW Holdings Bhd's takeover of MBM Resources Bhd (MBMR) are unfounded, adding that it is business as usual for the carmaker.
Perodua president and chief executive officer Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said the parties involved should have already discussed this issue and should be able to come to a solution, and that it should be nothing to worry about.
