Amazon is reportedly developing a domestic robot. We’re still pretty far away from the robot butler era, but this indicates the possible arrival of the “Alexa, get me a beer” stage, and we can’t wait. Sources familiar with the project told Bloomberg the company plans to develop a domestic robot: Codenamed “Vesta,” after the Roman goddess of the hearth, home and family, the project is overseen by Gregg Zehr, who runs Amazon’s Lab126 hardware research and development division based in Sunnyvale, California. KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 16): The Pakatan Harapan government’s motion for the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and the Auditor-General to reopen investigations into 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) was approved by the Dewan Rakyat today.
The motion, brought by Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, was passed with a majority voice vote after six MPs from both sides of the divide debated on it.
